The Homewood Embroiderer’s Guild is pleased to announce an opportunity to meet author Mary “Monica Ferris” Pulver on April 12, at 11:30 A.M. at Trinity Christian College, 6601 W. College Drive, Palos Heights, IL 60463. Mary is the author of more than a dozen books of the “cozy mystery” genre. The main sleuth is the owner of a needlework shop in Excelsior, Minnesota, and each of the books highlights a different needlework skill. The program will include lunch, a lecture by Mary with opportunity for questions, and a book signing. Tickets are $25. For information, please e-mail H.E.Guild@hotmail.com or call Jane at 708-833-9077.

Directions to the campus may be found at http://www.trnty.edu/maps/ I am really looking forward to this event.

Hi Marjorie: i put the info on both of my blogger blogs.

Hope more stitchers are able to get the news out.

Not sure about ME going as Saturdays are quite a 'rush around' day for me/us.

Will wait until closer to the date and see what is going on.

I admit, I've never read any of the books. OK, does that make me a baaaddd stitcher today??? I think I might have a paperback of one episode - but, really not sure : )
