
I remember when they planted it--this little maple twig--right across the street from our house. From year one, when it was just a stick really, it has produced the most glorious fall color.

It was a little teeny tree with only a few leaves--but they were great big huge brilliant leaves come fall.
Now it's much larger and each year just as glorious. These pictures do not do it justice. Each leaf has a multitude of colors and shade from lime to scarlet.

It's one reason why I love Autumn so much.
